Sondalo Museum
The museum traces the history of the construction of the largest European sanatorium complex of the first half of the 20th century with photographs and documents of the time, which marked an entire mountain, creating an evocative landscape and an exemplary space for life, research and treatment.
Through objects and furnishings, visitors experience the life that took place inside this real "village". The medical instruments and the original equipment in the spaces designated for the patients highlight the care that was provided inside the sanatorium. The first floor, characterized by a magnificent oak spiral staircase, also offers a view from a large panoramic terrace.
