Bormio Museum

In its frescoed and stuccoed halls, in the corridors, in the stua (wood panelled lounge), in the service areas and in the lovely garden, Palazzo De Simoni houses furniture and works of art of the family who lived there. In addition, there are furnishings and sacred objects from the churches of the area and works of contemporary art.

This beautiful historic building with a tower and noble chapel also houses a very rich ethnographic collection. In the section dedicated to means of transport, the famous diligence that crossed the Stelvio pass in the nineteenth century is of particular interest.
