Training

In a general context, on a national scale, given the increase in cultural consumption and request in citizen participation in the enhancement of cultural heritage, it is necessary that local museums constantly reflect on the services offered and quality levels and update themselves regularly.

The museum system also contributes to this, with periodic meetings to share and compare experiences among museum managers and with training events with a solid aim, that is to say, following theory with examples of good practices.

Training activities always involve experienced professionals. For example, for training in museum teaching, aimed at both museum educational operators and teachers, teachers from the Department of Human Sciences for Training from the University of Milan-Bicocca were involved: the training process took advantage of the experience of teachers and tested good practices, giving concrete form to theories on education with and through cultural heritage.
